Description: an incomplete and somewhat damaged gold finger ring dating to the Post-Medieval period, c. 1600-1700. A complete gold object of uncertain date, but possibly Iron Age or early Roman. It consists a length of thick gold wire (now rather twisted and distorted) of circular section with a knopped globular terminal at each end. Identification is uncertain, although it is likely to be an item of personal adornment such as a bracelet.
