Two fourth-early fifth century ad gold solidii. The coins were issued by Honorius (AD 393-423), the last legitimate emperor to hold sway over Roman Britain. One coin is from the mint of Milan, the other from Ravenna (the latter exhibiting typical plough damage sometimes seen on coins that have undergone archaeological burial)
They are of the same period and from the same findspot as a previous discovery of six gold solidi bringing the total to eight pieces:
