The fragment is in the form of a rectangular bar, broken at one end and hammered flat at the other; length, 16 mm; width, 9 mm; thickness, 5 mm. It is decorated with alternating yellow and pale gold overlays with double rows of irregular lozenges of black niello on the top and sides. The underneath is undecorated. The top and sides have been hammered, which has burred the edges underneath. It is uncertain what the fragment may be from, but it is possibly from a bracelet. A gold incomplete finger ring which may possibly be treasure, it will be examined by the BM. The rectangular shaped hoop is now bent out of shape and the outer face is decorated with two groovesalong either edge and a central band of foliage decoration with the inscription 'forget me not' within it.

Early-medieval continental enamelled gold mount from Suffolk (2004 T141) On a gold base is soldered a round box which holds in its field the enamelled decoration. The seam is covered by a filigree wire. The design is achieved by means of large cloisons (cells) made up of continuous ribbons of thin gold sheet, which hold the enamel. The visible upper surface of the cloison walls, economically, draws the design itself. This shows a male frontal bust (head and neck), with large almonds eyes and nose formed by one continuous strip curled on itself, a small mouth and ?moustache above.…

Gold disc pendant decorated with plain and beaded wire. The pendant is crumpled, with a bad tear to right of the loop and an empty central setting. A loose garnet cabochon was found associated with it. The face is edged with a single strand of beaded filigree wire and is divided into two registers which are separated by a second strand of wire, also beaded.
