Unusual type, another 8 recorded (Oxford index). Based on Gallo-Belgic D quarter stater (Van Arsdell 69) and Trophy type from Kent (Van A 145, 147); this seems to be an Essex/Suffolk version using bits from both designs. Date in 40's BC or thereabouts, comparable to other hoard items from this site.
