Gold quarter stater, some wear. Similar to Van Arsdell 1225-1 and to VA 1227-1, Allen's British O, but with the symbols on the reverse arranged differently, as CCI 97.1081. Although attributed to the Durotriges the variant has been found in Essex.

It appears in the Celtic Coin Index (eg CCI 98.2053, 92.0231, 95.3459) with the wreath style compared to Allen types Q,L and the reverse horse to North Thames types. The recorded findspots are mostly in Essex.
