Description: An incomplete gold Medieval quatrefoil frame brooch, dating to AD 1300-1450. It is half of the original quatrefoil frame, which has a sub-rectangular cross section and a double stepped outer edge. On one end there is the broken constriction for the missing pin. The front face is decorated with four cast raised inward facing human heads; the heads are even-spaced and are placed on the inner cusps and on the most outer part of the curved frame. Description: Gold late medieval to early post-medieval finger-ring. It has a rectangular bezel with a raised collet containing a clear grey glass or gem setting, possibly rock crystal. The gem is table-cut and has lost three large chips along one side. The walls of the collet are bent around the gem to hold it in place. They rise from a slightly wider collar decorated with a longitudinal groove. Description: A complete but slightly distorted gold finger ring dating to the Medieval period. It demonstrates a circular 'D' sectioned hoop, the shoulders of which are decorated with stamped repeating lozenge motifs. At its apex is a rectangular flat bezel which lies flush with the rest of the hoop, decorated with a cross patte pointed. Date: c. 1200-1400 Dimensions: the ring hoop measures 20.65mm in diameter and 1.03mm thick at its base, while the bezel measures 4.01mm long by 3.0mm wide. It weighs 1.53g. Description: An incomplete gold finger ring dating to the Medieval period, c. 1150-1400. This is a stirrup type ring, demonstrating a rectangular-sectioned flattened hoop and shoulders that extend to the bezel, which is constricted and thinner with a plano-convex section.
