The two sections of the bead are each made from sheet metal rolled into truncated cones leaving a hole in the centre of their apex. A complete Early Medieval gold pin dating to circa AD 550-900. The head is flat and sub-oval, broadly heart-shaped, with two lobes projecting from the top.
