An incomplete Neolithic flint axehead dating to circa 4000-2500 BC. Sub-trapezoidal in plan and oval in section, the surviving piece now has chuns taken out of it and as a consequence the cutting edge does not survive intact. Both faces have been crudely polished and has been subsequently flaked. The flint has significant traces of iron staining.
