A flint debitage blade, of Mesolithic date, 10,000 BC - 4000 BC. It is formed on a tertiary blade of opaque tan coloured flint with a small area of cortex on the right side of the distal end. The distal end is missing, snapped off. It is sub-rectangular with a rounded proximal end. The dorsal face is covered with long blade removal scars and has a triple arris. There is some edge damage, but the blade is not retouched. It is 62.6mm long, 22.1mm wide and 5.4mm thick. 8.9g.

Object type: SCRAPER (TOOL)
Broad period: UNKNOWN
County: Suffolk
Workflow stage: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation
An incomplete flint scraper, or perhaps a retouched flake, of uncertain date, probably Neolithic to Bronze Age, 4000 BC - 1000 BC. It is formed on a primary flake of translucent dark brown flint. The proximal end is missing, snapped off. It is sub-rectangular with a rounded distal end. The dorsal face is covered with cortex. There is slightly invasive, sub-parallel semi-abrupt retouch on the right side and sporadically on the distal end. It is 31.2mm long, 25.5mm wide and 5.5mm thick. 4.8g.

A flint scraper, or perhaps a retouched flake, of uncertain date, probably Neolithic to Bronze Age, 4000 BC - 1000 BC. It is formed on a tertiary flake of translucent dark brown flint. It is D shaped in plan with removal scars covering the dorsal face. All the edges have short, stepped, abrupt retouch. The flint seems thin for a scraper, but the abrupt retouch rules out a shaper implement such as an arrowhead or cutting tool. The flint is 19.9mm long, 16.4mm wide and 4.6mm thick. 1.3g.
