A flint waste flake of probable Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date.
The flake is sub-triangular in plan and has a conchoidal fracture. Part of the core platform is located at the proximal end, with an adjacent bulb scar on the ventral surface. There is no evidence of retouch and the irregular edges are probably the result of post-depositional damage rather than utilisation. The flint is largely unpatinated, mid to dark grey with lighter mottling in places. Both the dorsal and ventral surfaces have adhering chalk.
