One side is rectangular, suggesting it may be part of a tegula, but the lack of a right-angled upturn indicates that it is more likely to be a brick fragment. The object measures 144.3mm in length, 58.9mm in width, 36.3mm in width and weighs 280g.

A fragment from a fired lay object of uncertain date or function. It is rectangular in form, square in section but with only two original surfaces surviving, the remainder now missing due to old breaks. The fabric is pink/brown in colour with multiple large flint inclusions, the entire object measuring 51.93mm in length, 30.89mm in width, 27.57mm in thickness and 52.70g in weight. This may be a fragment from kiln furniture or similar, perhaps a kiln bar, but this remains uncertain due to the preservation of the object. It is of Roman or later date.

A fragment of fired clay brick or floor tile of Roman date. It is fired from an orange/pink clay with sandy inclusions, with a short length of one edge surviving, the object terminating in all other directions in old breaks. On the upper surface of the object is an incomplete maker's mark, as well as a paw print, probably from a dog given its form and the presence of claw marks. The entire object measures 98.47mm in width, 103.04mm in length, 42.91mm in thickness and 333g in weight.

An incomplete fragment from the corner of a fired clay brick. It has a soft orange/pink fabric, with gritty and flint inclusions, some of which are quite large, as well as visible small indentations perhaps resultant from now lost organic materials. The fragment is roughly rectangular in form and section and appears handmade. It measures 60.33mm in surviving length, 115.10mm in width, 54.03mm in thickness, and 346g in weight. It is of possible Roman date, but a later date cannot be ruled out entirely.

A fragment from a probable brick formed from a relatively coarse marbled orange/pink clay of Roman date. It is rectangular in form and section, with one complete edge, the remainder of the edges terminating in old breaks. One surface (upper?) has been burnt and has a large flint inclusion, however the precise method of manufacture is uncertain and the possibility that this is briquetage rather than a brick proper cannot be ruled out entirely. It measures 104.29mm in length, 98.98mm in width, 44.78mm in thickness and 619g in weight. It is of probable Roman date, c.43-410 AD.

A large fragment of fired clay brick or floor tile of Roman date. The surviving fragment is roughly rectangular in form, rectangular in section, terminating in old breaks on two sides. It has been burnt or at least exposed to high termperatures resulting in it turning a red/purple colour, the fabric being very hard and with some large gritty inclusions. This brick is of probable Post-Medieval or later date, possibly c.17th to 19th century in date.
