A body sherd from a coarse ware vessel of uncertain date. It has a hard fired dark brown/black biscuit with sandy inclusions and possible traces of organic inclusions. The exterior surface is fired brown in colour and has transverse ridges as if smoothed off by hand, possibly on a slow wheel. It measures 43.78mm in height, 40.68mm in width, 11.75mm in thickness and 22.03g in weight. The precise date of this sherd remains uncertain. A very abraded body sherd from a handmade pottery vessel with dark grey to black (burnt?) fabric that has organic inclusions and is missing its exterior surface due to post-depositional damage.
