An incomplete ceramic rim sherd originating from a vessel of probable Roman greyware, dating c. 100-400 AD. It demonstrates a circular-sectioned everted rim that curves strongly in plan, suggesting that this sherd originates from a bowl or similar piece of tableware. The fabric is a brownish grey colour and extremely abraded. It survives to a maximum length of 19.98mm, 37.31mm wide, and 9.43mm thick at the midpoint of the rim. It weighs 7.33g.

An incomplete ceramic rim sherd originating from a vessel of Medieval coarseware, dating c. 1150-1400. It demonstrates a flat-topped everted rim, with the fabric being a variable buff and grey colour demonstrating frequent small and middling size quartz temper. Preserved in abraded condition, it survives to a length of 17.05mm, 17.58mm wide at the rim, and 10.72mm thick at the midpoint of the rim. It weighs 11.72g.

A sherd from a Roman greyware vessel (GX). The sherd comes from the base of the vessel, which is c.67mm in diameter and flat. The small surviving part of the vessel wall flares out above the base. The fabric is hard and coarse and is tempered with plentiful poorly sorted angular quartz sand (<1mm) and occasional fragments of flint. Both surfaces are mid-grey colour and the core is a lighter buff-grey. Length: 78.25mm, width: 45.76mm, thickness: 17.37mm, weight: 50.08g

An incomplete ceramic rim sherd of Samian ware originating from a Curle form 11 hemispherical bowl or Dragendorff cup form 35, probably dating c. 100-250 AD. The sherd demonstrates a pinkish orange inner fabric covered with a reddish orange sllip. It originates from a shallow bowl, and consists the rim, shoulder and body of the vessel side as it plunges towards its base, demonstrating a heavily everted rim with a rounded edge. An incomplete wheel-thrown base sherd dating to the Roman period, c. 150-400 AD. The sherd consists the lower portion of the pedestal element of a large colour coated ware (possibly Nene Valley in origin) beaker, demonstrating a pinkish buff fabric that in places retains traces of a black slipped coating. The foot ring is circular and demonstrates prominent rilling marks on its inner surface. A small ceramic assemblage consisting 14 sherds of Medieval (c. 1150-1500) and 1 sherd of Post-Medieval (c. 1550-1650) pottery. The Medieval element consists 9 sherds of coarseware (8 body, 1 rim) ranging in colour from a light reddish orange to greyish black, all heavily sand tempered.
