A small base and body sherd of Roman wheel thrown greyware ceramic vessel dating c.AD 100-300. The sherd is a small irregular body and base sherd with clear striations indicating a wheel thrown vessel. The fabric is hard with numerous mica specks throughout the sherd. It is light grey colour on all surfaces, except under the base where it is dark grey. Length 51.14, Width 25.55, Thickness (body 7.45mm, base 6.22mm) , Weight 13.3mm

A fragment of a Roman Samian ware vessel, dating to AD 120-300. It is a body sherd af an undiagnostic vessel form. It is slightly curved in profile. The fragment has a stamped decoration on the front face depicting plant motifs. The back face is plain. Both faces have the redish brown slip and the fabric has an uniform light pink colour.
