Three body sherds from early medieval (early Anglo-Saxon) handmade earthernware vessels. Both the cores and outer surfaces are a dark grey-brown colour and the inner surfaces are smooth and shiny. The fabric is coarse and crumbly and is tempered with poorly sorted fragments of white shelly material (<10mm) and there are frequent long, rounded voids. Total weight: 79.52g

A body sherd from an early medieval (Anglo-Saxon) earthenware cremation vessel. It is a sherd from the body of the vessel. There are five transverse grooves decorating the outer face with a line of trefoil stamps running through them. The fabric is hard and coarse, containing poorly sorted quartz sand with sparse large flint fragments (<2mm). Both faces are brown in colour and the core is dark grey. Length: 31.5mm, width: 21.5mm, thickness: 11.5mm, weight: 8.4g

A rim sherd from a handmade vessel of possibly early Medieval date. It has a sandy dark grey to black fabric with possible burnished exterior surface. The entire sherd measures 28.40mm in length, 26.83mm in width, 10.12mm in thickness, and 10.22g in weight. This sherd is of possible Early Medieval date, c.5th-7th centuries AD, although a later date range in the early stages of the Medieval period cannot be ruled out entirely.
