A probable cast lead-alloy groat sized boy bishop token dating to the late Medieval or early Post-Medieval period, c. 1470-1539. Damaged and folded post-deposition, the design is not fully clear, but appears to be similar to SF-D642E8 with parts of the long cross and three pellets visible.  Length: 19.08mm Width: 18.04mm Thickness: 7.65mm Weight: 4.59g

A complete lead alloy Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) nummular brooch.  Discoidal in plan and flat the front face is decorated with a human figure holding a staff and with a crown, sat on a bench holding a figure, either a child or animal, within a border of raised pellets or beads. This brooch fits a group of late Saxon disc brooches which copy, or appear to copy coinage of the period see Weetch (2013:15-16 fig no176,179), with the variants being divided by whether they copy obverse or reverse designs. A complete Medieval lead-alloy Papal bulla of Pope Boniface VIII dating to AD 1294-1303. It is discoidal in plan with straight edges. The obverse carries a border of pellets situated in which is an inscription in three lines reading BONI/FATIVS/P.P. VIII. The reverse bears the standard images of the faces of St. Paul and St. Peter each surrounded by an aureole of pellets, with a cross in between them and the inscription SPASPE above. The die axis is 12 o'clock.  Diameter: 33.4mm. Thickness 5mm; Weight. 40.68g.

A complete probable Post Medieval lead-alloy lead weight dating to circa AD 1550-1700. It is teardrop shaped with a flat base, bulbous lower element and narrowed neck. At the apex of the neck is separately cast ferrous circular-sectioned loop. The loop is free from corrosion indicating a fairly recent date.

An incomplete Medieval lead-alloy seal matrix dating to circa AD 1200-1300. Now incomplete, it is pointed oval shaped terminating in a diagonal break along the middle of the seal. The central die has an oval-shaped incised border is a fleur de lis. The outer perimeter has an inscription: + S'AGN [...] HON [...] A squashed D-shaped suspension loop survives on the reverse. Seal matrices with personal names are usually dated to the 13th century AD.

An incomplete lead-alloy ampulla dating to circa AD 1150-1450. Its body is circular with a flattened base and a long rectangular neck. Now squashed flat, the neck is rectangular in plan and would have been hollowed, to allow for holy water to fill the vessel. The neck is incomplete, terminating in an old brea. A probable lead-alloy Post Medievavl weight. The piece is anthropomorphic with an oval-sectioned head and rectangular sectioned torso. On the front of the object two are two opposed oval incised eyes and a nose made by two parallel longitudinal incised grooves below the eyes. The back of the head is decorated with crudely incised oblique grooves representing the hair. On the reverse, at the lower edge of the torso, the piece is bevelled. Lead alloy pilgrim-badge. It depicts a robed figure, seated, holding a lamb - the Lamb of God. The figure may be on a boat although this is not certain, and is likely to represent St John the Baptist. On the back is a single loop for attachment to a garment. This badge is one of only a few of this type recorded to date, including BERK-29EB55 and YORYM-DB0F36, and an example from Fetter Lane, London (Ward Perkins 1967 [1940], 264, no. 36.146/2) Dimensions: It is 24mm wide and 22mm high, it weighs 2.9g Thanks to Rob Webley for identification
