Stater of Icenian Norfolk Wolf type (left facing, British JB, Hobbs nos 227-249, VA610-3). Metal looks like silver but is thought to be very base gold. John Talbot comments further: "The reverse die is particularly interesting as it is one of a small group of dies, many of which are linked, which have additional ornamentation. The die in question has an S below the wolf, a triple dot design below the crescent and a diamond shaped design above the neck.
