A copper-alloy late Medieval to Post Medieval 'Ship-penny' jetton, dating to AD 1490-1550. Obverse: profile of a sailing ship bearing central mast with yard-arm; legend unclear. Reverse: four fleurs-de-lis in a lozange with pellets ot annulets in the surrounding field; legend unclear. Cf Mitchiner (1988 pp. 365-375). The jetton has a small circular hole, possibly for suspension.
