An incomplete cast copper-alloy object, possibly a mount from a vessel or similar item. It is oval in form, tapering to a slight point at the base, and with a D-shaped cross-section. At the top the object narrows to a rectangular(?) neck that terminates in old breaks and is also D-shaped in section with flat back and faceted from face. At the centre of the body is a circular rivet hole containing a relatively large cylindrial rivet with flattened heads. The back face of the object is flat, and has a circular concave moulding surrounding the rivet hole. It measures 41.61mm in length, 3…

An incomplete copper-alloy object, probably a fragment from the handle or leg of a vessel. It is roughly rectangular in form, trapezoidal in cross-section, flaring at one end to a flattened and incomplete terminal, and at the other to old breaks surrounding a hollow/concave back(?) face that is perhaps a casting flaw. The entire object has a worn dark green/brown patina and measures 75.33mm in length, 28.39mm in width, 15.25mm in thickness, and 111.39g in weight. This is probably a fragment from a copper-alloy vessel, perhaps a handle or leg from a cooking vessel. Its precise date …
