Secondary, semi-hard hammer struck long flake, from a water worn pebble of flint with worn and battered cortex to one side of the dorsal face, the dark grey flint is now slightly patinated brown, both lateral edges are recently damaged with the removals lacking patination. Neolithic to Bronze Age, 4,000 to 700 BC.

A fragment of a Neolithic to Bronze Age flint blade, dating to 4500-1500 BC. It consists of a rectangular tertiary flake with a sub-trapezoidal cross-section; the dorsal face bears three longitudinal and sub-parallel scars and the ventral face has a prominent bulb of percussion close to one end; concentric ripples are visibile from the bulb down to the body of the blade. A complete knapped lithic tool of Neolithic date, circa 3500 - 2100 BC. The implement is a blade formed from a tertiary flake with the bulb of percussion and ripples remaining on the ventral surface. Four distinct flakes have been removed from the dorsal surface leaving a distinct central ridge. There are a number of retouch marks which join each other along one edge of the dorsal side. The flint is pale grey with mottling of white and darker grey. The implement is 62.03mm long, 20.11mm wide, 5.78mm thick and weighs 5.9g.
