A copper-alloy T shaped suspension mount for a horse-harness pendant, Medieval in date, about AD 1250 - 1400.
It is T-shaped in plan and both bars are triangular in cross-section. The horizontal bar has an integral sub-circular copper-alloy rivets at either end of the reverse. The vertical bar of the T is split, with both halves pierced to take an iron hinge bar, which retains iron corrosion. It has a overall mid-green patina with patches of brown.

A complete copper-alloy Medieval seal matrix. It is a conical seal matrix with a lozenge shaped suspension loop. It is very worn, the central design is not clear, the edges of the matrix are worn away and it is not circular in shape on the base. The central deisgn appears to be a stylised lilly. No inscription is visible.

An incomplete lead Seal Matrix of Medieval date (AD 1200-1300). The object is composed of a flat circular disc with an incomplete suspension loop at the apex of the reverse.
The front of the object is decorated with an incised motif composed of a central five pointed linear star within an inner and outer circular boarder, between which is an inscription in retrograde, which reads: +S’ROBERT:ShURN.I, or Seal of Robert Shurn - probably a surname.

A complete cast copper-alloy brooch of probable Medieval date. The brooch consists of of a front plate, shaped as a crown, which has 5 cruciforms at the top. There is a moulded relief at the base to give a 3D look to the brooch. To the reverse is the remains on an iron pin.

A fragment of a copper-alloy thimble of Medieval date. The fragment comes from the top of the timble, and has one small central stamped indentation at the top, the sides are decorated with small, widely spaced circular indentations in irregular vertical rows. It is corroded.

An incomplete copper-alloy decorative mount, of Medieval date. It is broadly cruciform in shape with the remains of an iron rivet or lug in the centre of the mount. Two bars extend out, with the remains of a third incomplete arm also present, and the two remaining arms have square-shaped terminals, one terminal is bend back on itself. At the top of the cruciform is a decorative fleur de lis head. There is corrosion, and no decoration is evidence.

A complete copper-alloy two-part harness pendant, medieval and circa 1300-1500 century in date, consisting of an outer pendant frame and a solid inner pendant.
The outer pendant frame is quartrefoil in shape with a suspension loop set at right angles to the plane of the pendant. The suspension loop is at the terminal of a two parallel rectangular shafts, which projects from the top of the middle of one of the quartrefoils. The outer pendant measures 50.33mm in length and 40.12mm in width. It has post-depositional damage, and is mis-shapen.

An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval harness pendant. It is escallop in shape, and therefore likely to be religious as a shell is a common badge of pilgrimage and have been found in late twelfth0centruy contexts in East Anglia (Ashley, 2002, p 26). There is evidence of gilding on the front of the pendant, and in the centre is a globular headed rivet. There is stamped decoration visible, depicting the scallops of the shell. A similar example can be seen in Ashley, 2002, p26, fig 25, 4).

A fragment of a copper-alloy purse frame of late medieval to post-medieval date. It consists of a strip of metal folded longitudinally along its centre to create a u-shape in cross-section culminating in a the remains of a right-angle terminal at one end and a worn break at the other. There are three small circular holes through one edge slightly further along. These would have held the fabric of the purse in place originally. An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval harness pendant. It is very worn and corroded, with decayed enamel remaining. The pendant is shield shaped with the remains of blue enamel visible. The suspension loop is incomplete. The design is not clear, but it appears to be a lion. Pendants with enamelled decoration, usually heraldic, seem to be most common in the late 13th and first half of the 14th century, c. 1280-1350 (Griffiths 1986, 1; Ashley 2002, 29-30; Baker 2015, 6).
