A secondary flake with retouching dating to the Bronze Age.It has been manufactured from a fine grained grey flint core with remains of cortex. The ventral face bears concentric ripples and the dorsal face has a longitudinal ridge along the axis; it shows traces of previous knapping. A complete struck flint tertiary flake of probable later Prehistoric date, c. 4000-1150 BC. Broadly sub-triangular in plan, it has been struck from a core of mottled light grey flint and demonstrating a small patch of creamy white cortex at its distal end, the flake demonstrates two arrises on its dorsal face, a sub-lenticular platform, and a neatly prominent bulb of percussion on its ventral face suggesting hard-hammer removal.
