An incomplete copper alloy Nuremberg 'rose and orb' jetton dating to AD 1500-1585. Obverse is worn but depicts crowns alternately with lis around a central rose; number of petals is unclear. Reverse depicts an imperial orb surmounted by a cross pattee within a double tressure. There are pairs of pellets in the external angles around the tressure. Crown mint mark. Both sides appear to display a fictitious legend. About 10% of the jetton is missing, leaving a jagged line down one side. cf The Medieval Period and Nuremberg Volume One, BA Seaby Ltd, London, p385, number 1268.

An incomplete copper alloy strap end of early medieval date, dating to the 9th Century AD. The strap end is classified as a Thomas Class A, being broadly rectangular with slowly tapering ends, especially at the 'snout' end, the strap end has been bent forwards. The strap end is divided into three areas; the 'snout', zoomorphic in design with pronounced ears, a central panel of a possible interlaced beast.
