An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval buckle, dating to AD 1270-1325. It is an oval loop with a sub-rectangular cross-sectioned frame, which has an expanded outer edge and a narrowed and off set pin bar. The front face of the frame expansion has a series of transverse grooves. The back face is flat and undecorated. As MEOLS (2007, p. 91, no. 515).
