An incomplete copper-alloy flat enamelled disc brooch dating to 80-250 AD. It is missing pin, spring, and is worn around the edge. Concentric bands divide face into enamelled rings with the remains of blue enamel in the outer band, with ten small projecting lugs around the outside. Similar examples can be seen in Mackreth, 2011 pg 110, plate 107, 11609-10764, and Blagg et al, 2004, pg 102, 174.  Diameter: 22.15mm Thickness: 1.92mm Weight: 1.92g

A complete cast copper-alloy buckle frame with integral plate of Medieval date. The buckle frame is oval in shape (although bent at a 45 degree angle to the plate - presumably post depositional damage), with two projections on both sides on the plate as it develops into the frame. The tapering plate has a hole for a (now missing) pin, and terminates with two semi-circular knops. An incomplete bow and fantail brooch; with a hinged pin about AD 85-140. It can be classified as Mackreth TR 4.1b2. The brooch is broken in two, across the top of the central rectangle. From the head a small circular integral head loop extends. The wings are decorated with transverse grooves at the terminus.The upper bow is flat-backed with a semi-circular cross-section. An incomplete copper alloy Roman zoomorphic plate brooch. The brooch is moulded in the form of a water fowl with closed wings. The impression of wings is created by two paralell incised grooves running running the length of the centre of the bird's back.  The tail is squared and pierced with a small, off-centre, circular hole. The neck extends upwards from the bird's breast and the curves round towards the head. An incomplete copper-alloy early medieval (early Anglo-Saxon) sleeve clasp catch-element.
