An incomplete late Bronze Age copper-alloy end-winged axe. Sub-rectangular in plan with butt, side loop folded wings and crescentic cutting edge. The butt end and most of the wings are missing. The damaged butt end is 25.34mm wide and 20.14mm thick. Casting seams are faintly visible along the centre of each side. The small surviving sections of the wings suggest that both are C-shaped in cross-section with their ends turned inwards. Central section of winged copper-alloy axe with single loop. Patinated breaks. Only one of four wings complete and this is bent double and cracked. Major break to body but no obvious hammer marks or casting flaws. Deep brown/green patina with patches of pale green invasive corrosion. Surviving length 87 mm.
