A copper-alloy medieval copper-alloy strap slide, dating to the period c. 1150-1400. Trapezoidal (sub-rectangular) in shape with two internal projections which sit 7mm from the top of the strap slide. Length 15.54mm, width 23.3mm, thickness 2.61mm, weight 1.82g. Similar to Egan and Pritchard, Dress Accessories, page 233-234, no. 1262. The mount is complete apart from a large chip in one of the edges.

Cast copper-alloy strap or belt fitting of Roman to Medieval date. The item is rectangular in shape with an recessed rectangle inside which there is a raised rectangular mound. There are tabs at either side of the mount though these are broken. There is a single copper-alloy rivet at the centre of the mount on the back, which is plain and undecorated. The patina is generally smooth and the colour is a dark grey/green.

A complete copper-alloy strap mount and pendant loop dating to the Medieval period, c 1250-1400. The bar mount is bent into a 'U' shape and riveted together at one edge, the latter being looped around a circular frame with an offset strap-bar. Preserved in fair condition with a dark green patina, the bar mount itself measures 11.35mm in length, the pendant loop 10.26mm in diameter by 1.48mm thick at its midpoint. It weighs 0.84g. A comparable example is recorded on the PAS database as SOM-724875. See also examples published in Egan and Pritchard (1991), especially nos. 1239-1241.

A complete cast coppper-alloy pendant loop and accompanying hanging-mount dating to the Medieval period, c. 1250-1400. The pendant itself consists an oval frame with an offset strap-bar and a prominent front edge with a collared circular knop. It is sub-trapezoidal in plan, consisting a rectangular-sectioned frame with a projecting rectangular 'tab' extending from its back edge. A small rectangular washer is jammed around the tip of the latter, held in place by corrosion products. A complete cast copper-alloy strap loop dating to the Medieval period, c. 1250-1400. It is rectangular in plan and section, a small circular-sectioned protrusion extending from its rear edge. Preserved in good condition with an even green patina, it measures 13.4mm long by 13.64mm wide and 2.26mm thick at the front edge of the frame. It weighs 0.63g. An incomplete Roman to Early Medieval propeller-shaped belt stiffener, dating to AD 350-450. It consists of a central oval flat element, which has a sub-trapezoidal plate extending to either side. The front face has a longitudinal median rib, which is pierced at either end by two copper-alloy rivets. The long borders of the front face are decorated with a line of incised dots. A copper-alloy Medieval shield shaped strap end, dating to the period c. AD 1350-1400. Notched on each side of the plate with a rounded inside edge, rivet on inside edge still present. The bar-mount has an arched section and single central rivet, also present. Both rivets have roves. There is also a small lozenge shaped mount with a single rivet hole attached to the rove of the bar-mount rivet. Similar to Egan and Pritchard, Dress Accessories, Page 157, no. 735 except with a rounded inner edge.

Incomplete post-medieval sword belt hanger, half of an elaborate cast plate with extant flaring terminal with double-concave notch in end, curved swelling flanking notch at broken mid-point, decorated with worn counter-relief foliate decoration pierced by one surviving rivet-hole, and one surviving suspension-loop (containing loop from broken pendant leaf) projects from the lower edge. Traces of black lacquer on face. Extant length 29mm. Extant height at loop 29.5mm. Cf. NMS-975580 and a more elaborate version of broadly related form in Read (2001), fig.26, no.373.
