A complete copper-alloy mount of post-medieval date. The object has a flower-shaped head consisting of an outer ring of six petals with a raised ring of six more petals in the centre surround a pellet. To the reverse a single, tapering, integral lug projects, square in cross-section. The surface of the metal has a reddish patina.

An incomplete lead-alloy mount. The mount is lozenge in shape. Its outer face is decorated with a central raised pellet with a border of pellets around the outer edge. A broken integral ug projects from the centre of the reverse. The surface of the metal is hevaily corroded.  A similar shaped mount excavated in London is decorated with dots and has been dated c. 1270-1450 (Egan & Pritchard 1991: 200, fig. 125, ref: 1080).

A complete Early Medievlal probable copper-alloy mount dating to circa AD 500-600. It is rectangular in plan and section. The front face contains two conjoined beasts facing away from each other. They have large circular heads, robust feet with large claws. The design is possibly rendered in the Salin 1 style. Significant trace sof gilding cover the front face. In one corner, beneath the outer border is a small circular perforation 1mm in diameter. A complete copper-alloy medieval bar mount which dates to c. late 12th to mid 15th century. It is long and thin with two arms protruding from a central point. It is plano-convex in section. The centre is domed shaped with a central aperture Each of the arms have smaller circular knops at each end, with an aperture through each knob. .  A similar example can be found in Egan and Pritchard (991, 26, fig.13).

A complete Post Medieval copper-alloy mount dating to circa AD 1600-1700. Sub-triangular in plan and plano-convex in section. The wide, top edge is transverse with a median rounded edge projecting from the apex. At the other end is a trefoil terminal. Projecting from the reverse are two median circular-sectioned lugs.  A similar example is recorded in Read 2016: pg 34, no 329.

A virtually complete Roman copper-alloy mount dating to circa AD 150-350. Broadly discoidal and circular-sectioned, it is comprised of three identical D-shaped openwork with kidney-shaped voids, in the trompetenmuster style. Projecting from the angles are moulded, knops. Projecting from one face is a central, circular boss which is now heavily abraded. The reverse is plain.  Appels and Laycock (2007) illustrate mounts with similar trumpet motifs on pages 77-78.Similar examples are recorded on the database including BH-2DE112, SWYOR-175668 and WMID-273AFD.

A mostly complete, copper-alloy sexfoil mount, dating c.1270-1450. This is a multifoil, domed mount. It had two separate rivets, although only one survives (Egan 1991:189, fig 959). These sexfoils have varying amounts of attention paid to the cutting out of the flower shapes and this shares similarities with irregularly trimmed sexfoils as seen in Egan and Pritchard (1991:187, fig C).

An incomplete Iron Age to Roman copper-alloy mount dating to circa 1-100 AD. It is rectangular in plan and concavo-convex in section. It would have had two folded edges, creating a cylindrical shape, although only one now survives intact. The centre of the bar of slightly bulbous. The front face of the bar is decorated at either edge with a series of four parallel longitudinal incised grooves.

A complete Early Medieval copper-alloy mount dating to circa AD 500-1000. The object is composed of a sub-rectangular, flat sectioned plate, with a rounded upper lobe. The lobe forms the head of a bird, giving the object a zoomorphic form. Incised linear decoration following the lobe is situated on the front face. Traces of white metal coating survive. On the reverse of the lobe is an in situ rivet.

The front face has repousse decoration appearing to be a floral life or vine. Faint traces of gilding remain in the hollows. A median fixing hole is located at the complete end and presumably would have had a symmetrical sibling on the missing edge. Suggested date: circa AD 500-1300.

An incomplete copper-alloy medieval folding clasp. Only the moveable, folding component of the clasp survives. This is composed of a rectangular section of sheet metal, curled over at one end. A bar mount, C-shaped in cross-section, is riveted to the outer face of the opposite end.  Egan and Pritchard (1991, 22, fig.11) date these to c.1270-c.1450.
