This small mount or fitting appears to be made from white metal. It is 22mm long and 18mm wide, and is cast with a front and back and a small hole for an attachment nail or rivet. A flat basal strip 18mm wide projects a central limb 7.5mm wide from which springs a circular cut-out shape with a large circular hole at the centre, 6.5mm across, with triple raidating thorns to left and right, and double thorns rising from the top. The smaller piercing is in the rising limb. This may be part of a hinge or similar fitting.
