The wings are semi-cylindrical in form decorated on their front faces with transverse moulded grooves. The arms are semi-cylindrical and there is a stump for a spring hook at the front of the head. The bow tapers and curves back from the head, with a sub rounded cross section and a ridged spine. The bow tapers to a triangular foot with a stump of a catchplate beneath.

A fragment of a copper-alloy disc of Medieval date 8th-9th century. All that remains is a quarter of the disc, which has cruciform arms and a chip-carved counter-relief interlace is net-like and occasionally expands to form small triangles. The interlace is abstract, with no animal elements identifiable, but there is evidence of gilding. The reverse is undecorated and has corrosion. The catchplate and pin are missing. Similar examples can be seen in PAS see NARC-E11208.

A fragment of a copper-alloy Ansate brooch dating to 700-1000AD. All that remains is a flattened circular terminal with incised circular border that contains a cross-shaped motif. It is encrusted with iron corrosion, and to the reverse has the remains of an iron pin. A similar, more complete, example can be seen on PAS, see SF-5260B8. This ansate brooch is of Middle Anglo-Saxon date with close parallels noted from Ipswich (West, 1998: nos. 98.3-4).

The eight equidistantly spaced flat circular lugs around the flat perimter plate have a six petalled flower design, which reflects the central deisgn on the plate. One of the lugs appears to have been pierced potentially as a chain loop.

An incomplete copper-alloy Colchester derivative rear hook Roman brooch dating to 43-70 AD. Missing spring, pin and catchplate. The bow has a flat back and an oval cross-section, with two longitudinal grooves down the bow. The wings are decorated with incised grooves, and a folded wing ends type, which are 5mm wide.

A fragment of a copper-alloy Colchester derivative Polden Hill Roman brooch dating to 75-175 AD. Missing pin, catchplate and part of the bow. The bow has a flat round back and a rectangular section front part. There is a groove along the front of the bow. The spring has 7 coils.
