An incomplete cast copper-alloy headstud brooch of Roman date (c. AD 50-150). Description: The object remains as the head, axis bar, incomplete bow, and incomplete pin.The head has the remains of the now broken head loop. Flat wings project from either side of the head, now both broken but each decorated with transverse grooves. Two tubular holdings to the reverse retain a copper alloy axis bar. A Medieval silver-gilt heart-shaped brooch of 15th century date. The brooch has a D-shaped cross section; the front surface is decorated with ridges to give the impression of a cabled frame. The back of the brooch is undecorated. To one side of the heart shape is a constriction for the pin, which remains intact. Gilding remains on boths surfaces, particually toward the outer edges. The brooch is 20.4mm long, 19.5mm wide, 4.1mm thick and weighs 3.41grams. A similar example can be seen on the database: YORYM-E48994/2006 T103.

A silver or silver plated annular brooch of probable Late Medieval or Early Post Medieval date (c. 1400 AD - c. 1600 AD). The oval hoop (3.8mm in width) is convex at the front and concave at the rear and has a constriction for pin. Either side of the constriction are two decorative transverse grooves. The tapering silver sheet pin has no decoration. The reverse has the letters 'ON' stamped on at 3 o'clock if the pin is at 12 o'clock. Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch, fragment of a cast copper alloy florid cruciform brooch. The surviving section of the brooch is part of the foot plate. There is a flat square panel with a sub-rectangular lappet on the left hand side and a moulded half rounded pannel below. The lapet is decorated with style 1 animal ornamentation. The reverse of the fragment contains a wide and incomplete catchplate. The breaks are worn. The brooch has a dark green-black patina.

Copper alloy Anglo-Saxon small long brooch. The headplate comprises a sub-rectangular central panel, with half-rounded projecting knops or panels on the top and side edges, one of which is missing. The top of the bow projects from the lower edge, with a worn transverse break just below this junction. A central perforated lug on the reverse forms the hinge, which has the remains of the iron spring attached to it. This brooch, which dates to the late 5th or early 6th century AD, is mishapen, with a rough, irregular surface and features. It may have been derived from a cremation.

Only the zoomorphic (horse head) terminal of the foot is present, with a worn transverse break just above a zone of three transverse ridges which form the animal's neck.
