The foot and catch plate of a Roman bow brooch probably of Colchester derivative type very worn and corroded. The bow has a circular section and the foot tapers to a point beneath the catch plate. It measures 41.91mm in length and 13.72mm in width.

Copper alloy brooch, Trumpet type with flattened back to the acanthus (Collingwood type Riv). Missing spring plus headloop, foot, catchpalte; damaged spring lug; bent. The head has two enamelled panels with semicircle motif - traces of blue enamel survive in the semicircle, yellow in the top triangles, red in the background. An incomplete copper-alloy Colchester derivative Polden Hill type bow brooch, missing spring, pin, foot and catchplate due to old breaks. The semi-cylindrical wings are extended and folded round to form a short fully enclosed section at both ends this holds a surviving fragment of the axis bar at one end. The wings are decorated with a transverse groove at either end and a diagonal groove running from this to the bow. The foot and incomplete catchplate of a Roman bow brooch. The bow has a deep central groove, giving it a U-shaped section and shollow grooves bound trasnverse hatching on the top faces each side. The foot terminal is missing. The surviving part of the catchplate is unusual in having light incised decoration on both faces consisting of hatched and open triangles. This foot measures 23.27mm in surviving length and the width across the catchplate is 10.89mm, across the bow is 6.09mm. a copper alloy Roman bow brooch fragment, trumpet type. It is the mid and upper bow only, with a trumpet head 13.7mm in width and a complete spring loop. It has three petal shapes separated y two peltas decorating the upper bow, the central petal with white enamel infill still remaining. There is moulding, consisting of a longitudinal rib, and transverse lines and banding across the entire bow fragment. It measures 30.12mm in length and 5.56mm in width across the bow, weighing 6.76g. The decoration ressembles that of Hattatt 432.

Copper alloy brooch, Aucissa type. Missing pin, extremely corroded (and cleaned), damaged margins, hinge, foot, catchplate. The top of the bow is a broader flat plate. The main bow has a strong broad centre rib flanked by concave mouldings and tapering to a point, with a strong curve in profile. Surviivng width at hinge 15mm, surviving length 49mm. Aucissa/Hod Hill types mostly arrive at the Conquest, although the Aucissa is earlier in date.

Copper alloy brooch, headstud type. Missing headloop, damaged catchplate, bow slightly bent, areas of corrosion. The pin is hinged and the headloop was cast. The wings have deepegrooves.The headstud has a central copper alloy dot with ?enamel in the ring surrounding this. The bow has a centre rib with zigzag edges and deep flanking grooves (probably not ever enamelled). The flat-ended foot expands from multiple transverse mouldings. The trupet head is undecorated, the central acanthus moulding goes fully round the bow. The flat sided lower bow has single lines incised along the margins and the moulded foot is flat-ended. Width 13.5mm, total length 48mm. Type as Hattatt no 430.
