A Colchester derivative Polden Hill type variant Roman bow brooch, incomplete as it is missing the spring, pin and catchplate, ther esr hook is also incomplete. The wings are semi-cylindrical and extended and folded round to form a short fully enclosed section at both ends, which would have held the now missing axis bar. A Colchester derivative rear hook type Roman bow brooch, incomplete and worn, incomplete wings, missing the spring, pin and worn incomplete rear hook and catchplate. The wings are semi-cylindrical and have traces of pairs of diagonal mouldings on them. The bow is D-shaped in section and has a central raised longitudinal panel with an incised wavy zigzag line running down it. It measures 53.26mm in length and 23.63mm in width.

A Colchester derivative with rear hook Roman bow brooch. Incomplete and the spring, pin and lower half or the bow and catchplate are missing and the rear hook is incomplete. The wings are semi-cylindrical and have corroded iron within them. They are decorated with transverse bands of reeding. The bow is pentagonal in section and has a central longitudinal band of reeding. This brooch measures 24.55mm in length and 28.37mm in width.

A copper-alloy Roman bow brooch of hod hill typewith side projections on the bow, for similar see Hacheston (Plouviez 2004, 89-90, no 19). Incomplete as missing pin and part of the rolled over bow terminal. Half of the rolled over bow terminal survives and part of the iron axis bar can also be seen within this. The bow has four longitudinal ribs and side knobs, the leg is also moulded and traces of a white metal coating can also be seen. The catchplate is unusual as it has three circular perforations, in a vertical row. The brooch measures 46.89mm in length and 21.90mm in width.

a copper alloy Roman bow brooch fragment. It is part of a Colchester derivative type with double pierced lug. The incomplete bow has a D-shaped section, with a slight rib on the upper bow continuing a single grooved line down the length of the bow. Both holes in the lug are incomplete, and only part of one semi-cylindrical wing remains. The catchplate and pin are also missing. The bow brooch fragment measures 27.2mm in length and 24.7mm in width, weighing 6.99g

The foot and catchplate of a trumpet or headstud Roman bow brooch. Measuring 21.32mm in surviving lenght and 4.69mm in width. The foot/bow has a triangular section and there are the remains of a central longitudinal row of lozenge shaped recesses with traces of dark blue enamel within them. There are two transverse mouldings before a circular flat knop terminal. The catchplate is incomplete and has a pin rest.

Colchester derivative probably with a rear hook Roman bow brooch. Copper-alloy and incomplete as the lower stub of the hook is missing, and the pin, spring and catchplate missing. Measuring 38.20mm in length and 16.66mm in width. The rear hook held the spring cord orginally. The wings are semi-cylindrical and part of the spring remains within them, it may have been soldered in place orginally. The bow is rectangular in section and has longitudinal grooves and mouldings, running to its rounded tip. Only a scar remains where the catchplate was originally.

A fragment of a Roman 1st-2nd century AD trumpet derivative bow brooch, only the wings, a fragment of the head stud and the bow now survives. It measures 11.23mm in survving length and 13.56mm in width. The wings have decorative tranvserse grooves across their tips and the loop of the pin survives. The bow also has a transverse groove and seems to have a curve where the top of a disc could have been originally. Similar to Hattatt, 987-986.

The short deep wings have a fragment of the pin loop in their centre. The bow has stubs where the chain loop would have been. The headstud has a raised rim and central dot.
