An incomplete copper-alloy Roman Colchester derivative double pierced lug bow brooch. It is missing the pin and lower half of the brooch due to old breaks. The wings are semi-cylindrical in form, undecorated, and separated at the cnetre by an integrally cast double pierced lug. This holds in place a copepr-alloy spring chord and spring of six coils, missing the pin due to old breaks.
