The wings are short, rectangular in form and section, and separated at their centre by an integrally cast but incomplete spring chord and hook. A fragment of a cast copper-alloy bow brooch of Roman date. It is a Colchester derivative and all that remains is the foot of the bow and the catchplate, the rest is missing due to old breaks. The bow is d-shaped in section and the catchplate is triangular in shape with a circular hole towards the top with a triangular hole beneath. The bow is decorated with a longitudinal rib down the centre. It measures 32.42mm in length, 8.53mm in width, 2.37mm in thickness and weighs 2.28g.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy bow brooch of Iron Age or Roman date. It is an Aucissa derivative brooch, only the bow of which survives, the rest missing due to old breaks. It has a d-shaped bow and what remains of the head plate is flat with a central slot for the missing pin. It is very corroded and any decoration can not be seen. It measures 35.71mm in length, 11.59mm in width, 1.89mm in thickness and weighs 3.31g. It is similar to published examples (Crummy, 1983, no 19 and Hattatt, 1989, no 871).
