Roman copper alloy brooch fragment of Headstud type. Upper half only, missing pin, headloop, very corroded. Snape Group 3.1D I. Ribbed arms. Lozenges & triangles (enamel missing) on lower bow. Width 21mm, surviving length 24mm. A second fragment of headstud brooch, comprising the lower half only, bent and very corroded, might be the same object. Again the enamel is missing from lozenge and triangular cells. Flat ended moulded foot. Surviving length 30mm.

The one surviving spring coil is of iron - either the spring was originally made separately or this is a mend, but junction is obscured by corrosion. Flat arms and circular section tapering bow, apparently undecorated. Catchplate stub suggests several ?rectangular holes. Length 63mm, width 14mm.

Copper alloy brooch, related to Aesica variant types. Missing spring, pin, one arm: Bent and squashed, corroded. Spring held by rear hook. Arm has bead moulding and grooves at terminal. Bow has a plain oval upper part (perhaps missing an appliqué?) and a fantail lower half with pairs of rib mouldings. The fantail is very similar to Hattatt's Crescent type Aesica brooches (e.g. Hattatt no 288) and the rear hook is also commonly found on this type. Length 39mm, surviving width 20mm
