Copper alloy brooch, Colchester type. Missing half spring, pin; damaged catchplate; fairly corroded. 4-coils of ?8 coil spring survive. Long spring hook ?broken end. Flat arms with traces of vertical ribbing. Facetted bow giving a hexagonal section. Central face has a groove with reserved wavy line. Catchplate has base of 2 rectangular piercings surviving. Length 66mm Width 16.5mm. As King Harry Lane (Stead & Rigby 1989) Grave 230 no 2.

Copper alloy brooch fragment, Aucissa type. Upper bow only, with iron corrosion from hinge bar and top of pin. No trace of any inscription, stamps or other decoration on head. Flat bow with 2 broad flute mouldings and narrow ribs between and at margins. Width 11mm, surviving length 28mm. As Hattatt no 43 etc but less emphasis on centre rib.
