A complete copper-alloy medieval Nuremberg 'Ship-penny' jetton dating to the period AD 1490-1550. Obverse type depicting a ship, with stern castle on the left and bow castle is on the right. The legends are largely illegible. Reverse type depicting four fleurs de lis in a lozenge. A similar example is illustrated in Mitchiner M. (1988), p. 372, no. 1166. The jetton has a diameter of 25.98 mm, a thickness of 0.44 mm and weighs 1.73 g.

A worn copper-alloy Nuremberg 'Lion of St Mark' type jetton, anonymous stock issue with fictitious legends, dating c. 1500-1570. Obverse: Lion of St Mark standing left, nimbate and holding book of gospels, standing within inner solid border (which the halo does not break). Reverse: imperial orb within trilobe. C.f Mitchiner nos. 1098-1099, and BUC-80BDD5 on the PAS database (though this example has no rosettes in the obverse field).
