A complete cast lead or lead-alloy spindle whorl of probable medieval date (c.AD 1200-1500). Description: The object is circular in plan and biconical in profile with curved faces and a large central perforation. The central hole has a larger diameter at one end than the other. The edges of the hole are ragged and worn. Both faces are undecorated with a raised join where the two halves meet. The object has a mid-grey patina. An incomplete cast lead mount of medieval to post-medieval date (c.1300-1600). Description: The mount is in the form of a five-armed wavy star, two of which surive, the rest being stubs. Each slightly curved arm is sub-triangular in cross-section so that they are rasied at their centres. Smaller arms, inbeween these, are all broken off at their bases. The reverse of the mount is flat. There are two tiny circular indents on the left, and it is unclear if these are mirrored on the right. A near complete, lead or lead alloy, Medieval ampulla, dating to c. AD 1300-1500. The object consists of a flattened bulb like vessel with a single wide mouth opening at the top and two attachment loops on either side. One face of the ampulla has a heart within a square, possibly with a crown above. On the other face is a flower design made of four petals, in the orientation of a cross. The lip of the object has been slightly damaged.
