Robertson 2000, 86-87 no. 403: "The hoard was discovered with the aid of a metal detector on farm land at Akenham in Suffolk. The first coins were unearthed in June 1981, then, over a period of several months, further searches revealed more coins, amounting to a total of 45, plus one small fragment of a gold bar. In the autumn of 1982 a further search following ploughing of the field revealed an additional 14 coins.
