Anthropomorphic bracket and swivelling arm from a copper-alloy chafing dish of Lewis's Type F, dating to the Post-Medieval period c. 1500-1650. It is made out of a flat piece of copper-alloy plate approximately 3.4mm thick. The artefact is comprised of two pieces: an incomplete bar with a human head shaped terminal in profile, and a bifurcated swivelling bar that is attached below the head with a copper-alloy rivet. The remaining portion of the handle takes the form of a circular human head above which is a thinned shaft that would have originally curved upward and outward to form a larger handle. Much of the handle is now missing, and the thinned section comes to a point where a breakage in the handle shaft occurred. Forty nine (49) fragments of a probable copper alloy cooking vessel, dating from the Medieval to Post Medieval periods. The fragments are broadly flat in appearance and range in shape and size but are of a similar thickness, ranging between 1.5mm and 5mm. Owing to the flat nature of the fragments, it is probable that the vessel was originally a skillet, similar to a modern saucepan being straight sided and with a projecting handle. Roman samian ware vessel rim sherd. The sherd is trapezoid, with a shallow 'D' shaped rim along the top edge. The inner surface is damaged, with a large amount of the slip missing. There is a small amount of damaged to the outer edge. There is no visible decoration. The sherd is 26.03mm long, the body wall is 3.27mm thick and the rim is 4.93mm wide, 4.10mm thick. Medieval to Post Medieval incomplete cast copper alloy vessel leg with a worn break at its apex. It is rectangular in plan, triangular in profile and has a sub-rectangular cross section. There is a raised central ridge with 'D' shaped cross section along the outer surface of the leg The base is flat with the main body being angled at approximately 45 degrees. It is 45.91mm long, 38.68mm wide and 19.49mm thick at the base, tapering to 40.05mm wide13.91mm thick at the break. It weighs 121.87 grams.

Fragment of a Medieval or early Post-Medieval(1250-1650) cast copper alloy or ?pewter rim, from a large vessel probably a cauldron, skillet or laver. The rim is everted and has broken at the shoulder. The interior is smooth and has a rounded rim edge. The exterior is roughly cast. Length 55mm, width 30mm, thickness 4.73mm, weight 23.23g. The fragment has a dark green patina with very small patches of mid green corrosion product. There is some sooting on the exterior.

Medieval (1300-1500) cast copper alloy vessel leg, shaped like a human leg/foot. The leg is rectangular with a hexagonal cross section, the leg terminates in a foot which has a triangular cross section and an elongated hexagonal base with the two longer edges being concave. There is some incised decoration on the foot, however it is extremely worn. There is a worn break across the top of the leg. It has a mid-green patina. The leg is 26.78mm long, the leg is 9.31mm wide, 6.17mm thick, and the foot is 21.95mm long, 9.13mmwide, 7.01mm thick. It weighs 11.80 grams.

Seven sherds of Post Medieval wheel thrown pottery. Five sherds are made from a sandy fabric with mica inclusions and very sparce shell inclusions. There are specks of green glaze glaze on both the inner and outer surfaces of the sherds. The sherds weigh 280 grams. Although these are of similar fabrics, they appear to be from different vessels. Fragment of wheel thrown slightly sandy shelly ware dating from late Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) to early Medieval, circa 850 to 1200AD. The fabric is tempered with shell and small dispursed flint inclusions. The core is grey, and the external surfaces are reddish-brown. It it part of the shoulder of a vessel, with part of the wall being straight, before expanding outwards giving the sherd a convex profile. The fragment measures 62.08mm by 39.46mm, is 5.90mm thick and weighs 21.13 grams.
