A Modern forgery of a Roman provincial coin, possibly dating to the 19th-early 20th century. The obverse depicts the bust of Antoninus Pius, facing right. The inscription reads ΑVΤ ΚΑΙСΑΡ ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟС ΑΝΤΩΝΙΝΟС (Augustus Caesar Hadrianus Antoninus). The reverse depicts Demeter standing in biga drawn by winged and coiling serpents,advancing right, holding a long torch. The inscription reads ΘΕΑ ΔΗΜΗΤΡΙ ΝΕΙΚΑΙΕΙС (Goddess Demeter of Nicaea).
The original coin was produced in Nicaea, Greece, but this replica would have been produced elsewhere. R…

Modern cast copper alloy drop handle. It is subtriangular with a square suspension loop at its apex, and divides into two curved projections at the base. There is a raised, moulded triangle on the main body of the mount. It is 38.77mm long, 23.65mm wide, 4.11mm thick and weighs 11.5 grams.

Modern (18th to 19th century) cast lead toy cannon. Formed of a hollow cylinder which decreases in diameter from 15.02mm to 8.9mm. it is 59.50mm long, has a maximum thickness of 23.52mm and weighs 21.5 grams.
