Anthropomorphic bracket and swivelling arm from a copper-alloy chafing dish of Lewis's Type G, dating to the Post-Medieval period c. 1500-1650. It is made out of a flat piece of copper-alloy plate approximately 3.4mm thick. The artefact is comprised of two pieces: an incomplete bar with a human head shaped terminal in profile, and a bifurcated swivelling bar that is attached below the head with a copper-alloy rivet.
