A complete lead spindle whorl of uncertain date. It is plano-convex in shape with a convex upper surface and a flat base. It is sub circular in shape with a central circular hole of internal diameter 7.87mm. It weighs 18.75g and is 22.30mm in diameter. Objects such as these were used for a long period of time for a variety of functions with little change in form.

An incomplete copper-alloy enamelled buckle plate of 12th or 13th century date. The plate is a Limoges product made from copper-alloy of which only a tiny stub survives. It is broadly circular in shape, but following the pattern of the enamel design dipping in the centre of each side of the plate. The enamel design comprises four lozenge shaped petals, with white, blue and red enamel, surrounding a circle which is pierced in the centre for a now missing rivet. Limoges dress accessories are only occasionally recorded (see NMS-128191, BH-9EC418, NMS-948…

An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval buckle. The frame is circular in form, with an integral plate, which tapers towards an old break. The frame protrudes on each side before the plate. The plate retains the pin, and has a circular hole for a, now missing, rivet and terminates at the remains of another circular hole at the break. There is gilding evident, in a design of a central line, and 45 degree diagonal lines on each side of the central line. A similar example can be seen in Egan and Pritchard, 2011, pg 78, fig 48, 320-231.  Length: 32.17mm Width: 14.60mm Weight: 3.70g

An incomplete copper-alloy buckle with integral (rigid) plate of Medieval date. It is broadly trapezoidal in form, with an incised notched pin rest on the outer edge, a circular hole for the now missing pin below the frame. The bow is flat, with rectangular cross section, on the front face are two longitudinal grooves below which is a moulded transverse groove, which tapers into a triangular shape before terminating in an old break. An incomplete worn enamelled copper-alloy flat disc brooch dating to 80-250AD. A small disc, with the (now missing) pin mounted between two worn lugs. On the centre of the disc is a centrla reserved spot surrounded by a concave sided hexagon on whose cusps are small circles, and in the recesses are remains of blue enamel. A similar example can be seen in Mackreth, 2011, pg 108, plate 105, 11599 and 10656. Diameter: 17.03mm Weight: 1.47g

An incomplete copper-alloy flat enamelled disc brooch dating to 80-250 AD. It is missing it's pin, catchplate and is worn around the edge. It would have been enamelled, with eight peripheral lugs. The eight equidistantly spaced flat circular lugs around the flat perimter plate have a six petalled flower design, which reflects the central deisgn on the plate.
