A complete flint bifacially worked implement of probable Neolithic date. It is an elongated sub-oval shape and symmetrical pointed oval in cross-section. There is covering, scaled retouch on both faces with some finer retouch along the sides and ends. Patchy brown patination covers a small area of flaking in the centre of one face, while there is limited patination elsewhere (perhaps suggesting that an earlier object may have been reworked?). There is very little signs of wear and a little rolling in places on the edges. The general consensus seems to be that this is an implement…

It is roughly lozenge-shaped in cross-section with a raised central ridge running longitundinally across both faces. Both faces have been reshaped using invasive, scaled retouch with small patches of cortex remaining in places.
