a copper alloy late Medieval or Post-medieval thimble or sewing ring. It has four rows of indentations which are circular in shape, and the rows are arranged in a spiral. Both the rim and the top are unthickened. The sewing ring rim measures 16.52mm in diameter, and it is 9.22mm in height, weighing 4.45g. Sewing rings of this type date from the fifteenth century and continue into the Post-Medieval period.

a copper alloy late Medieval or Post Medieval mount, in the shape of a stylised bird, probably an eagle. It is D-shaped in section, with an integral blunted rivet in the centre of the flat side. The upper surface has longitudinal grooves defining the outline of wings and tail, on which there are traces of gilding. a lead Medieval pilgrim or religious badge fragment. It is trapezoid in shape and is probably one transverse arm of a Tau cross. It is an expanded arm, measuring 16.10mm in length, 3mm in thickness, and tapers from 13.09mm in width at one terminal, to 6.76mm at the other, which is incomplete. This would have attached to the rest of the cross. It weighs 2.06g. a copper alloy Roman bow brooch fragment, trumpet type. It is the mid and upper bow only, with a trumpet head 13.7mm in width and a complete spring loop. It has three petal shapes separated y two peltas decorating the upper bow, the central petal with white enamel infill still remaining. There is moulding, consisting of a longitudinal rib, and transverse lines and banding across the entire bow fragment. It measures 30.12mm in length and 5.56mm in width across the bow, weighing 6.76g. The decoration ressembles that of Hattatt 432.

Copper alloy brooch fragment, lion bow type. Part of the upper bow only, corroded surfaces. This is the "lion-shaped" element of the bow, with square rivet attached to a sheet fragment from the lower bow. The stylised animal shape is conveyed by transverse mouldings and a hole at the top on the break represents the division between the lions back legs below the join to the spring cover. Surviving length 24mm, width at lower bow junction 10mm. As Hattatt no.280. The lion bow type is related to the Rosette series and Continental in origin.

The rounded upper part has a grooved X, two lines on the top half. The central knob has four grooves around the top and a single one below. Copper alloy brooch, Aucissa type. Missing pin, extremely corroded (and cleaned), damaged margins, hinge, foot, catchplate. The top of the bow is a broader flat plate. The main bow has a strong broad centre rib flanked by concave mouldings and tapering to a point, with a strong curve in profile. Surviivng width at hinge 15mm, surviving length 49mm. Aucissa/Hod Hill types mostly arrive at the Conquest, although the Aucissa is earlier in date.

The plate is 1mm thick, slightly thicker along the band between hinge and catchplate. All-over re-touch, off white/cream coloured flint, which appears to be the natural colour rather than patination. The form is relatively straight sided with slight splaying at barbs. The concavity of the hollow base is relatively slight. Lenght 85mm, width 37mm and thickness 9mm. A copper-alloy hook piece of an early post medieval circa 16th century book clasp. Rectangular in shape measuring 44.52mm in length and 17.74mm in length. The hooked terminal has a surviving projecting hook and the other attachment terminal flares outwards and has a V-shaped notch in its end, it also has two parallel copper-alloy rivets through it. There are then three decorative circular holes, and a ring and dot motif in the centre of the clasp. On the back face at the hook end there is an integral rivet.

A complete cast copper-alloy spherical (crotal) bell. Measuring 46.67mm in height and 38.98mm in diameter. This bell has a rectangular shaped suspension loop with a worn circular hole through it. A complete copper-alloy stud, 38.94mm in total length with a roughly circular head, slightly domed in its centre, measuring c27mm in diameter. It has a bent square sectioned integral shaft, 6.30mm in width, which tapers to a point. This stud is similar to post medieval examples found in Norwich which are believed to be circa 1500-1600 in date and used on doors and chests for strengthening purposes (Margeson, 1993, 146-7, fig 108, no 1090).

An incomplete copper-alloy folded sheet medieval circa 14th century buckle plate. Only one half now survives the rest is missing due to an old break. The plate is roughly rectangular in shape with a tapering rounded attachment end, it measures 23.94mm in length and 19.40mm in width. The bowl is round and distorted, it is 51.03mm in width, the stem is flat and rectangular in section and shape and tapers towards its tip, which is incomplete due to an old break, the tip may have had a shaped terminal knop originally.

A small fragment of a Roman speculum (a brittle high-tin bronze) mirror, dark grey in colour with one shiny surface, the back face is pitted and not smooth or shiny and has an incised line across it.
