Medieval gilt suspension mount for a horse harness pendant, very corroded, bent and broken, rectangular with rectangular lug projecting from both sides each pierced by a rivet-hole and now folded onto reverse, the remains of broken twin suspension-loops spring from the base. The mount is decorated with a star with circular domed centre and six radiating arms on a field of stamped annulets. Tiny fragments of gilding survive on the face of the mount. Cf. pendants with similar decoration in Ashley (2002), 6-7, fig.6, nos.10-12. 12th-century.

Medieval gilt copper alloy mount for the suspension of two pendants: a sub-square sectioned bar recessed at one end for an integral rivet. The slightly distorted other end is T-shaped with both arms bifurcating to form suspension loops with iron spindles. This must have functioned in the same way as a 4-pendant example from Wickham Market, Suffolk (Martin et al. 1988, fig. 30) Length 39.5mm. Width 6mm and c.18mm. 13th - 14th century.
