A copper alloy double loop oval buckle dating to the Post Mediecal period c. AD 1550- 1650. The frame consists of two oval loops meeting at a central axis bar. The frame is D-shaped in cross section with a flat reverse and curved outer edge. The pin bar is oval in cross section. At either end of the pin bar on the outside of the frame is a pointed triangular knop. Each corner of both loops has a domed knop. The buckle has an overall dark brown colour. An incomplete cast copper-alloy buckle dating to the post-medieval period (c. 1550-1650AD). The pin is missing. The buckle is double looped, with a sub-oval loop either side of the pin bar. The outer edge of each loop is gently curved; on the internal side of the outer edge the frame curves in to form a low pointed projection. The frame and pin bar are D-shaped in cross-section with a flat reverse and rounded upper face. There are two incised lines in a V-shape on the frame either side of the pin bar. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman brooch of the Colchester derivative hinged type. With considerable corrosion and old damage only one wing and top part of the bow survive. The remaining wing is cylindrical in shape with a join running across the reverse where it has been rolled from a single piece of metal and there is a transverse slot in the centre within which is iron concretion. An incomplete copper alloy Medieval cylindrical barrel padlock mechanism, c.AD 1200-1400. The padlock mechanism consists of a two cylindrical sections connected by a rectangular central section. The upper cylindrical section has a circular perforation, the lower is solid.
