An unpatinated struck flint end scraper of later Prehistoric date. It is struck from a pale grey flint with parallel flake scars on the dorsal face and steep edge retouch at one rounded end. Limited crude edge retouch along both sides. It is of Later Prehistoric date, c.2500-1 BC

A collection of worked and burnt flint (plus two pottery body sherds and a piece of metalworking residue) found during a geophysics survey with the SIAH on Suffolk Heritage Explorer record TAT 003. The 5 pieces of worked flint at the top of the photo are all debitage. Each are of the local mid-brown to light grey flint, with cortex remaining and a clear striking platform and bulb of percussion on each. A fragment from a copper alloy Blade, Dagger or Rapier, of Mid to Late Bronze Age date (1600-800 BC). The object is sub-rectangular in plan. The original cutting edges have been lost to post depositional abrasion; the remaining surface has an even dark green patina.. There is a central rib on both faces giving a shallow lozengiform cross section. Length: 37.13mm, Width: 21.71mm, Thickness: 4.02mm, Weight: 13.2g

A complete knapped lithic implement of probable Bronze Age date (c. 2000 - 800 BC). The implement is a scraper formed from a primary flake. The flake is mid grey in colour with some slight creamy patination, and with creamy-brown cortex along one side. There is a pale, circular patch of lighter flint that runs all the way through the flake. It is triangular in plan and roughly rectangular in section.
