An incomplete Medieval cast copper alloy rectangular buckle frame of Meols (Griffiths et al. 2007, fig.2.5.1) Type C, complete with plate but missing the pin. The frame has slightly convex sides, and is D-shaped in cross-section. The plate folds over the bar of the buckle. There is a rivet hole at either end, but both rivets are now missing. The frame has a dark green patination, with some orange areas of corrosion especially where the rivets were positioned. Similar examples are shown in Whitehead 2003, page 27, example 139. The terminals have been formed into slipknots and the knotted area has an oval to circular section, as is common in such rings. It is broadly circular in plan view, though slightly distorted in places due to post-depositional damage. A trefoil plate with one lobe open for suspension, now broken, with a lug at the opposite end which passes through the spherical terminal of a cast round bar. The other end of the bar retains a short hollow arm at right angles to it, serving as a winding key, with a short continuation beyond this, now broken. The plate bears a stamped shell motif on both sides. The item has an even mid brown colour. An identical watch winder is shown in Detector Finds 2, by Gordon Bailey, Greenlight Publishing, Witham, 2001, page 26-7, item 4.

A Post Medieval copper alloy clog clasp, dating from c. AD 1700 to 1850. The clasp has a sub-rectangular main plate with three parallel rectangular perforations. One end is square and the other has shoulders which narrow to a small central hook, now broken. The upper surface has an incised line close to the border which follows the outer edges all around the clasp, the reverse is undecorated. There is a wavy border defining the outer edges of the plate. Both ends of the plate have square corners. The clasp has a mostly very pale green colouration.

A complete cast copper-alloy button and loop fastener corresponding to Wild's (1970) class VIb, dating c. 50-150 AD. The object is constructed with a rectangular flat undecorated head with a shank on the reverse which curves back on itself so as to be on the same plane as the head, before bifurcating into a triangular loop. A fragment of the toggle-end of an early Post Medieval cast copper alloy toggle-clasp, probably dating to c. 16th-c.17th century AD. The toggle-end fragment consists of a raised and protruding toggle bar at one end, followed by a plate including symmetrically cast bifurcated knops on both sides of a small circular rivet hole. The curved outer rim of the bowl suggest it was circular, making it a Type 1 spoon in Crummy's (1983, p.70, fig.73, no.2008) classification.
